Season’s Greetings!
As the year draws to a close, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to you. 2024 has been a remarkable year for JRM, one filled with growth, transformation, and unforgettable milestones. As Helen Keller wisely said, “Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much” Your support and trust have allowed us to achieve extraordinary things this year and, together, make a positive impact in our community.
This year, we celebrated JRM’s 15th anniversary with the unveiling of our new logo—a fresh symbol of our journey and future direction. We’re thrilled to share more with you in the coming year, and we look forward to continuing our partnership as we enter this exciting new chapter.
We also celebrated a groundbreaking achievement in our NICI (National Indigenous Culinary Institute) partnership, with our apprentice chef Yolanda becoming the first graduate of the program. We couldn’t be prouder of her accomplishment and are excited to support many more apprentices in the years ahead.
Beyond professional successes, our team’s milestones have made this year extra special. Nathan and Tori welcomed a beautiful baby boy, Andy excelled in his role as Ambassador for the Burnt Chef Project, and was also promoted to Head of Permanent Placements for JRM.
James was honoured to be invited as an ambassador for the Children’s Cancer Institute Australia (CCIA), a role that recognised his dedication and hard work in supporting the cause. This year we were delighted to set a new fundraising record and with the support of the team, raised over $65k, taking our total raised over the years to well above $100k. Our efforts were further acknowledged when we received an award for our outstanding fundraising initiatives. We couldn’t have achieved this without your support and generosity, for which we are truly grateful.
As we reflect on 2024, we are more inspired than ever to continue creating and delivering positive change with you. It’s a privilege to work together, and we’re excited to see what we’ll accomplish together in 2025.
