The Drawing Room by JRM

The-Drawing-Room
Located in the heart of Sydney’s Surry Hills at Veriu Central, The Drawing Room is an eclectic and modern interpretation of a classic 1920s vibrant bar and eatery. The heritage building boasted an opulent drawing room in Sydney during the roaring 20’s, created for entertaining guests with music, intellectual debate, drinking and laughter. In 2018, The Drawing Room is designed to evoke the same feeling of conversation, frivolity and recreation all with a generous dose of style and decadence. An all-day grazing menu is available from breakfast through to dinner and late-night drinks at the art deco style bar. The Drawing Room Jaffle specialties include: ‘The Fancy’ with Jamon Iberico de Bellota, Taleggio; ‘The Reuben’ with Pastrami, Swiss cheese, pickles and thousand island dressing; ‘Cheese Face’ with local brie, vine ripe tomatoes, basil pesto and the infamous ‘Cheese Burger’ with ground beef, cheese, pickles and mustard amongst others. An array of local and international wines are on offer, whilst the cocktail menu serves up delectable old-school favourites each with a modern twist, such as The Drawing Room Old Fashioned and a classic Tommy’s Margarita.
